My name is Erika Scott and welcome to my page!
It's a little rough around the edges but that's because I'm just getting started in web development.
Hopefully, I'll learn some more coding magic and be able to make it kick-ass soon enough :)
I'm super passionate about user experience, both research and design, and am excitedly working towards becoming a pro UXer! Aside from being aware of my own interactive experience, I'm tremendously curious about a person's motivation to choose A over B, or what may seem "logical" to one is not to others. This stems from my background in psychology and my bicultural upbrining.
Otherwise, I'm a twenty-something living and working in New York City. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Cali girl but this east coast city sure has stolen my heart!
Having lived on three different continents, in over 10 different cities, I've become a bit of a nomad in my search for my place in the world. It has been hard at times but I feel that I have finally found my calling with UX and NYC. I have loved traveling, experiencing new cultures, and meeting different people. I will always continue to keep exploring the uncharted territories of my life and expand my horizon. This is why even though something like programming is pretty new to me, I'm excited for the challenge!
